The Peavine Restaurant is a fun place for the entire family. Great food, drink and atmosphere. A one-of-a-kind restaurant and pub that features appetizers, pasta, meat, fresh seafood and an outstanding Kid's menu.

Peavine Restaurant is located just minutes from I-89. Take Exit 3 towards Bethel. After entering Bethel you will see Route 107 South toward Stockbridge on the left. Follow 107 and the beautiful White River to the Peavine Restaurant. It is approximately 7 miles from I-89.

The Story of the Peavine Railroad
The Nineteen-mile White River Valley Railroad operated between Bethel and Rochester from 1900 until 1933. You can still see a segment of the old rail bed across the river. Local legend has it that the line came to be called the "Peavine" because the area's narrow valleys forced the railroad to follow the meandering course of the White River. Apparently the circuitous route reminded some witty gardener of a Peavine's wandering coils and the nickname stuck.
Well, that may be so, we'll never know for sure; but we do know that "Peavine" will live on as the name of our fine dining establishment for years to come!

Great Food
The food at the Peavine has been impressing people since it's opening. Now serving the freshest seafood in Vermont every Friday and Saturday night - direct from the docks in Plymouth, Ma. Our steaks are hand carved in the kitchen and grilled to perfection. The hand made brick oven bakes some of the best tasting Pizza and Casseroles there are.

Friendly Hospitality
Our delicious food is only part of the reason for our success. We love to entertain. The Peavine Restaurant only hires the friendliest, most caring staff. We go out of our way to make sure that each customers dining experience is pleasurable.

Kid Friendly
Some restaurants aren't kid friendly. Not only is the the Peavine equipped with a handcrafted Adirondack adorned pub with four TV's and a center fireplace for our adult patrons, but boy do we have an area for the kid's. Three of the dining section tables are designated learning centers for the kids sporting built in computers with educational software. The Peavine has a talking  robotic parrot (left), and two trains that travel around the dining area and through the Birdhouse Village.

The Peavine is always decorated for holidays. The kids will be surprised by a visit from "Buddy" and his toy chest. Buddy regularly appears giving each young guest a toy of his or her choice.
